Mr. Ang Seng Hing

Vice President (Ushamas Forwarding (M) S/B)

Mr. Ang has been involved in the logistics industry since 1982, when he founded Ushamas Forwarding (M) Sdn Bhd. Starting out as a customs brokerage, the company gradually expanded to include freight forwarding, transportation, and warehousing. With more than 40 years of experience, Mr. Ang has quietly built a strong working knowledge across multiple areas of the industry.

He joined the SFFLA committee in the year 2000, motivated by a simple principle: to solve industry issues in port operation whenever possible. Over the years, he has remained a steady presence, contributing in ways that may not always be visible but are grounded in practical support and behind-the-scenes work.

Mr. Ang has served three terms as Vice President and was entrusted with overseeing the Port Operations portfolio, covering both conventional and containerised shipments. He has also contributed to other portfolios, particularly in areas related to Kastam and Other Government Agencies (OGA), where his working experience has been especially helpful.

Mr. Ang continues to offer his time and support where needed. His commitment to the association and willingness to share what he can has been quietly appreciated by those who have worked alongside him.
